Congregation Beth David mourns the Wednesday, April 11, 2007 passing of one of its founding members, Mrs. Ruth B. Robrish, 92, of Pembroke Pines, FL and Narragansett, at her daughters home in Narragansett. Devoted to family, friends and synagogue alike, Mrs. Robrish will be missed by all. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Louis and Rebecca (Drankoff) Botvin, she had lived in Florida for 20 years.

Ruth was a life member of Hadassah, a member of Congregation Beth David and a member of the former Temple Beth Israel.

Devoted mother of Freyda Feldman of Boca Raton, FL, Carole Robrish of Narragansett and Joel Robrish of Weston, FL. Dear sister of the late Mae Levy, Frances Olive and Beatrice Strauss. Loving grandmother of 9. Cherished great-grandmother of 8.

Funeral services for Ruth Robrish will be held on Sunday, April 15 at 11:00 am at Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Avene, Cranston, RI 02920. Follow the link for directions to that location. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Congregation Beth David or Hadassah.

The family will be sitting shiva at the home of her daughter, Freyda Feldman at 1 Summer Street in Narragansett Sunday 7-9, Monday through Thursday 2-4 & 7-9, Friday 2-4 p.m.
