In Sept. 2006, we sent a donation to St. Thomas More Church and received the letter on the left in return.

We also delivered the food that was donated on Yom Kippur 2006 to their food pantry. While we didn't take pictures this year, you can see what it looked like in the pictures taken two years before.

The food that was donated on Rosh Hashana was delivered to the Johnny Cake Center.

Belmont Market supplied the paper bags we used for our food collection. The letter on the right was sent to thank them for this donation. We also had bags from other supermarkets that had been donated in previous years. We thank all of the local markets for their support.

To thank St. Thomas More Church for letting us use St. Veronica Chapel for 5765 Rosh Hashanah services, Beth David made a donation to the St. Vincent DePaul Society and brought our Yom Kippur food collection to St. Thomas More Church for them to distribute to the needy as they saw fit. Read what they had to say about Congregation Beth David in their newsletter, their thank you letter, and see the pictures taken of the food delivery by Dodi and Walter Horowitz here.

In 2004, the Board of Directors voted to give a special contribution to the South County Hebrew School to mark the fact that our own Ethan Adler was named the director of that school. Click here to see the letter received from the school thanking us for our contribution.

Congregation Beth David hosted a CHAVER training program sponsored by the Jewish Seniors Agency in 2004. Click here for more information.

You can see the updated notice of the 2004 annual meeting here.

Other events of interest to the Jewish Community in South County are sponsored by Chabad of West Bay. Information about Chabad and Rabbi Yossi Laufer can be found on their web site at http://www.RabbiWarwick.com.
