LIMMUD: ADULT JEWISH LEARNING

Ready, get set – for the Yamim Nora’im – (the High Holidays), with a special evening devoted to many aspects of the holiday season. Explore your inner self, learn melodies and shofar blowing, and gain a deeper understanding of some of the texts. The evening will consist of an introduction and several sessions:

The evening is open to the entire community! Join with the congregations of West Bay and South County for three evenings of exploration, discussion, stimulation, and fellowship in a new series of adult education programs. Spread over the course of several months, these programs will offer exciting supplements to each congregation’s own adult education sessions. THE ELUL PROJECT in September will initiate our programs.

In February we will celebrate Tu b’Shevat with an evening exploring Judaism’s teaching about the environment, and in March we will hold a West Bay/South County Renaissance Evening. Information on the latter two events will be forthcoming!!!
